Clerida Eltimé

MAD Music Director and Teacher

Clerida Eltimé has made her mark in classical, pop, and hip hop music, performing most recently with artists including Frank Ocean, J.Cole and the legendary Stevie Wonder. She has performed at prestigious venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Carnegie Hall, Central Park’s SummerStage and The Museum of Modern Art. Her primary studies were with Julia Lichten, of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and with Nicholas Tzavaras, of the Shanghai String quartet. Clerida is a graduate of Purchase College  (BM’ – Cello Performance) and is currently a Music Enrichment teacher at several preschool facilities in New York City. She was recently recognized by rapper, Future, for her cello cover on his famous “Mask Off” challenge. Her amazing talent continues to take her career to higher levels. We are pleased to have her join the MAD Teaching Team to open our youth to the world of music and all it has to offer.
